I am Natalie, founder, maker and owner of NH Ceramics.

I’m excited to share my love of handbuilt ceramics with you. Largely self-taught, my work celebrates the diverse possibilities of ceramics. I live near Cirencester in the beautiful Cotswolds and love to spend spare time sketching and developing new ideas.

My pieces are crafted using traditional techniques like pinching and coiling, ensuring each one is unique. I primarily use light stoneware clay, but am currently also using porcelain.

To enhance my work I use a variety of slip and layered glaze methods particularly in my Studio collections. Some designs are further highlighted using an array of underglazes, oxides, and flux, and I choose the highest quality gold lustre for an exquisite finish.

NH Ceramics is a small business founded in 2022 by Natalie Haynes who designs and creates a diverse range of ceramics in her studio, often characterised by their textural nature.

NH Ceramics pieces are made with the utmost care and attention using slow handbuilding techniques combined with oxides, modern glazes and lustres.

Since Natalie’s work is made by hand, and because of the natural variation in the materials, techniques and processes, every piece she makes is well-crafted and made to treasure.
