Frequently asked questions

Are all of your ceramics handmade?

Yes they are!

It is for this reason that sizes and shapes will vary slightly from piece to piece making your piece truly unique.

Are your pieces functional as well as decorative?

Yes they are!

All vessels used for food are glazed with non-toxic food-safe glazes and each vessel used for liquid is checked to see if it is watertight.

What care advice can you give?

Wash your pieces in mild soapy water avoiding any abrasive materials such as a scouring pad.

What is Gold Lustre?

Gold Lustre is a decorative finish applied at 750ºC in a third firing. The lustre we use has 24 carat gold content which gives the piece a beautiful metallic sheen. This metallic content means that the pieces should be handwashed and are not to be used in the microwave nor in the dishwasher... these steps will ensure the longevity of your piece.

Do you take commissions or custom orders?

Yes, we welcome commissions. Whether you are looking for a special gift or a decorative statement piece, we can create something bespoke.

How will my ceramics be packaged and shipped?

All UK orders are carefully wrapped and boxed ensuring safe delivery. We use the Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service. Should you require a speedier delivery please choose Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed option at checkout.

Do you offer Workshops?
